"I used the cost estimator on a Sunday night, the compliance navigator on Monday morning, and had three quotes by Friday. We were R 340 000 under what the first builder I asked privately had pitched."
From scope to handover, with three quotes in hand.
We match you with three NHBRC- and CIDB-verified builders in your province, brief them on the same scope, and walk with you all the way through the JBCC contract.
Three quotes against a single brief.
The reason most homeowners can't compare quotes is that no two builders are pricing the same scope. We solve that by writing the brief once, and sending it to three.
Four steps from "thinking about it" to handover.
Use the cost estimator and planner to set a realistic budget and timeline for your project — before you talk to anyone.
The compliance navigator tells you exactly which approvals, certificates and signs-off you'll need in your province.
We send your brief to up to three vetted contractors. They quote against the same scope. You compare like for like.
Stage-based payments, red-flag checklist, and a downloadable JBCC contract template keep everyone honest from start to handover.
What you'll want to know first
What does it cost?
Nothing to homeowners. The builders pay us a small platform fee on contract signing, which is independent of the contract value. We're not incentivised to push your budget up.
How do you verify builders?
NHBRC number checked against the public register. CIDB grade confirmed annually. Three references contacted by name. A current build visited in person. No anonymous listings.
What if I don't like any of the three quotes?
We'll rebrief and send to three more. We do this until you find the right fit, and there's no fee for re-matching.
Will you write my contract?
We provide the JBCC Edition 6.2 template with your project data pre-filled. We recommend you have a construction lawyer red-line it before signing — for which we provide referrals at preferential rates.
Do you handle disputes?
We're not a mediator. But we follow up after handover, capture the review, and remove builders who don't honour their commitments. The accountability mechanism is reputational and it works.
Real projects, real results.
"The red-flag checklist saved us. The contractor we were leaning towards failed four of the critical checks. We caught it before signing — and before our deposit."
"The municipal approval timeline was the hardest part of our build. Having a plain-English guide for Cape Town saved my marriage, honestly."
